Sometimes my stomach flips when I see something truly special come down the runway. At Burberry this happened more than once.
Chatting to one of the perfectly presented Burberry staff after the show he explained Christopher Bailey had taken inspiration from the heritage 1930 collection and modernised it with the metallic colours, lace trenches, satins and leathers and ending with the exquisite peacock blue cape.
The attention to detail was incredible. Not just the collection but the whole experience. Upon entry my phone beeped with a message in my inbox from Christopher Bailey. I know everyone would have received it however it was such a small thoughtful gesture that made you feel part of the experience.
