The David Jones spring summer launch last night for me, was the equivalent to a 10 year old going to a circus. I loved it. The amazing festival of shapes, colours and textures that our Australian designers have created worn by some of the most beautiful women Australia has to offer, to the beat of a pumping soundtrack. It was my kind of carnival.
Highlight - (apart from the parade itself). Watching international guest Kelly Rowland take her place - she is magnificent in the flesh and her hair is quite simply insane. Also the transformation of Level 7 David Jones where the parade was held. Modern, luxe, white and the pink lighting was stunning. And of the course the company. Great catching up with some old friends, new friends, bad knees and all.....
